This coil replaces problematic factory green ignition coil. Not for electric start models, (40e).This is a non factory ignition coil! The green coil factory system with the flywheel on the e-ton 40/41.5cc has a rpm counter tang that OFTEN comes loose from the flywheel, damaging the flywheel and coils and covers and even crankcase & crankshafts in some cases. This "tang" communicates with trigger module and governor. The factory system is very problematic and a higher rpm grenade time bomb.�Please watch the informative video on YouTube that explains this NEW coil.
